Deva Atharva is so font to join Police force however he is facing a permanent breathing issue and hence he understands that he will never be able to joing Police Force. Hence he decides to join a Clue Team which assists the police force. His passion and his skills makes him a rookie in this team. Meanwhile he falls in love with Nithya who he met at one Crime Location. He is now behind a mysterious death of an actress.

 

The initial crime scenes were interesting but when it came to main plot the lagging script plays the spoil sport. The romance portion itself was unwanted in this thriller intended movie over that the songs in the movie is not suiting the movie at all. Technically the movie fails to move above avreage and script wise it comes more down. Eventhough the director and the lead actor Karthick tries to save the movie the movie never tried to save itself.

 

Verdict: Below Average

This movie is about the life of lead character named Joe. His love Break up his aggressions his mental state etc. First half is about his love with Sujithra while second half is about his family life with Shruthi.

 

You can See Premam, Raja Rani , Arjun reddy and many other movies of this genre in this one movie. Eventhough the first half was pleasant with the romance and some comedies second half is a dry one. Rio Raj had good scope to perform in serious scenes but the script never left him free to show case his acting. Music department was well handled and it drives the movie in first half which had bare little dialogues. First half screenplay was also good which was more of a pleasant romantic tale with some entertainments here and there. Direction was good as the movie was packaged well but the similarities with many other movies and lack of freshness in second half had pulled down the movie.

Kumari and Ravi Kumar joins Kotabommali Police station as new Trainees under Rama Krishna (Srikanth). Rama Krishna and his team of trainess falls in an issue which directly affects the winning chances of Mr. Barisela Jayaraj who is a minister and contesting again as MLA. The issue worsens and Rama Krishna And team are on a run.

 

The Movie which is remake of Malayalam Movie Nayattu have shown some justice to the Malayalam Version. It’s the acting performances which primarily drives the movie. Srikanth stands out in his performance as a senior Police Men. Varalaxmi also impresses as a investigating officer. The portion of the movie towards the end is the best part. The movie fully deals with political pressure on the Law and Order System and how it affects everyone. Nayattu movie had a very good cinematography while its not the same. Back Ground Score by Ranjin is passable. This movie is completely a serious movie and being in that genre some more technical perfection should have been achieved, here acting section is the only driving force.

 

Verdict: Watchable Survival Thriller

She is in task of assigning many people who are aware of their deaths And prepare them to face it. The movie proceeds with how Aniketh takes over Preranas mind and move on.

 

The story is with resemblance to many movies but however the emotional attachments in the backdrop of nature`s beauty and strong acting gives a refreshing feel. It’s the script which is core positive of the movie, some dialogues are really good and touching. The chemistry and togetherness of minds of lead actors are conveyed really well in this movie. Music department is one of the positives which gives a soothing feel and Midhun Mukundan needs a special applause. Another positive is the cinematography department which gives a visual threat of Natural Greenery. The movie teaches us to rethink about life and teaches us how to live till the time we are alive and how we can wait for our death happily.

 

Verdict: Good Refreshing Movie.

This news was of great importance for her and her family as she is making her childhood dream real. An unfortunate accident changes everything in her life. The movie is all about her situations and her fight for a comeback with the help of Paddy an unsuccesful former Indian Cricketer.

 

The movie is about fight back from the very low situation an human can reach. Its about the hard work that converts itself to a magic in life. R Balki has made a top quality stuff which traverse itself to a magic on screen. There are many scenes in which tears will roll out from viewers eyes. Saiyami Kher has given a very strong performance showing out all emotions at correct level in this movie in which its her character is most important one. Abhishek Bachchan in on top notch, its also one of his best characters. It often gives a feel that he is a very underrated actor just because he resembles his father. To be true he is a terrific actor and Paddy is another example for that. Story of this movie may reseble any other sports drama but the uniqueness in charcaters emotion and making makes this a stand out one. Back Ground scores and Cinematography is exactly suiting the movie set up. Overall it’s a must watch sports drama.

This series is the story of many people who got involved in 1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy with importance to Railway workers who saved many people.

 

The series is a definite tribute to some unsung heroes who risked their life to save many. The series has many similarity to Chernobyl series, or rather makers might have strongly been inspired From Chernobyl. But sadly the final product is nowhere near to the HBO Original Classic Chernobyl. Here the main problem is makers tried to bring many sub plots which is neither interesting nor have a clear explanation. These sub plots mainly had brought lag in the series which could have been one of the best. The technical sides are good especially the Camera works and Music dept. Acting wise Kay Kay Menon stands out and its really sad that director never used the calibre of Madhavan properly, probably his character might have been poorly written.

 

Verdict: Above Average

The inexpreince of director is clearly visible throughout the movie. The movie dives into almost all possible genres rather than focusing on the main plot of crime thriller. This confusion has led to a mixed final output which is almost a tiresome watch. Acting wise Vikrant looks impressive and other technical sides are also ok. Background score and songs by Hesham is really good in the movie. Too many twists at end also plays a spoil sport.

Setting this concept in a village background was a good move. The visuals of Village is really good to watch in the movie, especially the night shots are brilliant. Sivendra deserves a special mention for cinematography. Mysterious back grounds are suited to the mood of the movie. Climax of the movie is one of the biggest positive. Many twists and turns are really good in the movie. First half is the setting for a good second half. Payal Rajput who played the lead character is really good in her role. The screenplay have some flaws and lag here and there which can be pointed out as negative.

 

Verdict: watchable Thriller

Dr Azad and Dr Zakir Rasa is consulted while the investigation proceeds. Some Shocking Revelations happen during investigation that its all about something very Big.

 

The biggest drawback of the movie is that the actors were not utilised properly. Rahman one of the finest actors didn’t clearly have anything to do rather than walking here and there with style. The script seems to be written in confusion. The biggest positive of the movie is visual excellence shot perfectly by Sinu. Background score by Gopi Sundar is also good. Some action scenes were also good. The concept had a pan Indian possibility but the making of the movie was very far behind.

She had moved on with her life very hardly. The movie moves on with how the New Manu goes with the people who ruined his life and how he enters to priyas life once again.

 

This movie came out with very huge expectations from  the success of Part A and may be the huge expectations have backfired in this movie which takes an entirely different route. The pleasant romantic movie in Part A turns to serious Drama in part B. it’s the emotions that is being discussed here. One may not feel that both parts were written and shot together eventhough it’s a fact. Music and Cinematography is in top notch like its first part. Acting wise Rakshit plays a role which has conflicts within character brilliantly. Rukmini also plays a role which is different from first part in a good manner. Chaithra also had played her part well. Hemanth M Rao has done a good job to make this Part B close to Part A.

 

Verdict: Definitely Below part A

An Assassin is on a mission to murder a high profile person. Things go wrong and he immediately escapes to his home. At home another surprise waits for him. The movie turns to a Revenge Drama from here.

 

David Fincher known for best thrillers in this world delivers yet another thriller which may not come close to his best movies but definitely it’s a good thriller. Here the movie revolves solely around the assasin (Michael Fassbender) who delivers a great acting performance. He portrays an assasins role who doesn’t have any compassion to anyone or rather its what an assasin should be like. The voiceover reminds him of what he should do or follow being in an assasins shoe. Each sentence delivered in voiceover has its own meaning and explanation in the movie. This movie is a slow burner but the director clearly controls our mind with his perfect direction. Fassbender gives an outstanding performance the minute detailing even taking a Rem Sleep by movement of eyes is great to watch.

 

Verdict: Good Psychological thriller

Tiger 3 (2023) Movie Review

Tiger is on a mission Named Mission Timepass to start the movie with. Later on he is assigned with a mission to safeguard democracy in our neighbouring country. Aatish Rehman an ISI agent who has some personal losses in past is connected with Zoya in some way. Will Tiger be able to enforce Democracy back in Pakistan? Whose side does Zoya Take rather is Zoya the real zoya? That’s all about Tiger 3.

 

This movie is almost a template movie from this genre. There is not much of a difference from Pathaan which came this year and makers didn’t try too much to change the formula. First half of the movie doesn’t have much other than some terrific action sequences and hence its almost not the real actors we see on screen. Since there is no much in the story it’s the Salamns Charisma and presence which the director looks forward to. Some terrfiic action scenes including Katrina Kaif is a real likeness to watch. It’s the guest role by SRK and the scene which takes the theater atmosphere to different level.

 

Overall there is nothing much to discuss as it’s the one which everyone expects and the expectations are well delivered by the director. Not an addition and nor a deletion to what we expect from the movie.

 

Verdict: Watchable

Prabhakaran (Venkat Prabhu) a police officer is on a mission to eliminate all bad guys in the city. Dali a gangster comes in his way. Rest of the movie is a typical cliché which we have seen all these years in a cop movie.

 

There is nothing much anyone could have done in this typical cliche script. The director however tried to bring a non linear narration in some parts which itself turns out to be a nail in the coffin. Cinematography is ok while the music department feels failed as they should have arevelation while watching this movei on screen that just increasing the volume up an loud music is really irritating if the screenplay doesn’t support it. Sreedivya looks elegant eventhough she didn’t have much to do.

 

If you want to see yet another cliché Cop Movie you can watch or rather no you should rewatch some old movie.

 

Verdict: Avoidable

Chellaiya (Poo Ramu – Late) is in financial crisis and he wants to buy good clothes and Fire crackers for his grandson Kathir to Celberate Diwali. He has no other option than sell his goat which he had taken care of like a son. Kathir is also very fond the goat. Vellachamy agrees for buying the goat. There is also a parallel story going on which shows a loving couple planning to leave the village on Deepavali day. The movie proceeds with how Chellaiya handles this situation.

 

Despite the story being predicatble director manages to keep people interested by showing realistic situations faced by Chellaiya. Towards the climax we may feel a good connection but climax is same as we expect. The screenplay is like a normal template everyone uses for this kind of genre. Acting is one of the main positive in this film as poo Ramu takes the lead with a very strong performance. Kaali venkat and Master Deepan also gives a solid assistance to Poo Ramu.

If you can get the emotional connect worked out then this movie may feel an almost good one.

Theresa a young and vibrant college student gets raped. Dcp Harish (Suresh Gopi) gets allocated with the case. Theresa studied in college where Nishanth (Biju Menon) works a sa lecturer. The movie proceeds with the investigation. 

First half is brilliantly written by Midhun Manuel with a strong feel that it itself had a story for full Movie. There is no lag in first half as the case is not elongated and durectly it cuts to catching the culprit. Second half seems to have big lag as everything was delivered in first half and the climax too is predictable. However some emotions and mass dialogues in second half works like the one delivered by Dileesh Pothen towards the end of the movie. 

Jakes bejoy has done a fantastic job with his good Back ground score. Ajay David Kachapilly also delivers good with his strong frames. Arun Varma also has done a decent job in packaging the product. 

Verdict: Almost Good Thriller

Japan a Robber is under scanner for a jewellery Heist. So many characters are involved in and around this plot. Raju Murugan who is known as a serious filmmkaer tries to look different this time with adopting a Mass Kind of movie. However he takes a dig at this genre also through the movie by convincing audience that what they want to see on screen is not actually what they should intend. On paper the concept of the movie should look great but execution lacks way behind. Its Karthis whole hearted effort which saves this movie atleast in many parts. Its his character which creates atleast some curiosity in the movie which clearly is predictable. Some dialogues written for Karthi to set a mass tone is really good.

 

Verdict: Average and nothing new

Caesar (Raghava Lawrence) is a criminal and he develops an interest to become a Movie Hero. Rather than Director selecting the actor here its caesar who takes the call on fixing Director. He is impressed by story narration of Ray Dason (S J Surya) and selects him as the director for his movie.

Raghava Lawrence excels in a double shaded character and SJ Surya as usual gives his best. Karthik Subbaraj succeeds in extracting out from the actors but however talented Shine Tom Chacko feels wasted. Extensive character building scenes in first half brought a lag to the narration but second half is good with emotional connects working out. Story line is similar to its first part. Music and Cinematography is really good in this movie which negates aome errors/Lag in the movie. Overall the making is good and it’s the wagering screenplay which lets the movie down.

 

Verdict: Watchable

Shiva is a lorry driver and close associate of MLA Nagama Naidu. Things go wrong when Shivas relation with Aadhi, Son of the MLA goes wrong. The movie revolves around how Shiva comes out of the situation.

The director seemed to be in a confusion on what the end product should be. He tried to incoporate some social messages on Gender differences in this movie which is nowhere related to the main plot. Rather if he would have focused for a thrilling action oriented movie on a whole he might have tasted success. Aparna should have been used well in the movie but the oppurtunity got wasted. Rakshit Atluri has given a good performance but no where near his previous movie.

The second half of the movie is good and gripping eventhough some flaws are evident in script, but the first half is a big let down. Music department have done a commendable performance with good Cinematography too. If the screenplay was better this movie could have ended as a good thriller.

Keeda Cola Telugu Movie Review

Vaastu and Kaushick two best friends gets a Cockroach from a cola Bottle. It felt like a turnaround in life for them as both were not succesful in life. They plans to get a good amount as compensation from the Cola Company. How did the cockroach Appear in the bottle and whetjer they will get the compensation?

Expectations were high when Tharun Bhascker who had made Pelli Choopulu and Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi comes with another comedy Movie. He partially manages to bring a good output. Some comical scenes were really good and some scenes were good. One may feel that the excellent idea had more potential. Climax of the movie also could have been better. Also there is no surprise element in the movie which could have worked well. Cinematography of the movie is very good with passable music. Tharun Bhascker as an actor impressed in many scenes. Chaithanya Rao did a good job on screen.

 

Verdict: Almost enjoyable

Ma Oori Polimera 2 came with a huge expectations dwelling on the positive reviews for its first part.

There is an abandoned temple and a lot of mysterious deaths in village. A man sets out to find his missing brother. Second half of the movie is filled with lot of twists and turns revealing what is actually happening. 

First half of the movie is loosely written but the director tries to keep it packed convincingly. Some twists in second half and some jump scare scenes were good. Acting performance of all lead actors are near to good. Background scores were good as a whole.

Two Teenagers Fall in Love, their Family Backgrounds especially Caste difference comes into play, Story seems Familiar right? Definitely we have seen it many times. However The director Manoj Bharathiraja son of Famous filmmaker makes his debut somewhat interesting with a very peculiar story. 

If you have time to somehow bear the plain and uninteresting First half and aome songs in Second half then you have something in hand. Its the engaging and emotional second half which makes the movie engaging. Ilayarajas superb Music also goves an aide to the movie. Strong performance from the lead characters also is a positive for the movie.

Verdict: Above Average

Rangoli (2023) Tamil Movie Review

Rangoli is a 2023 Tamil Movie. Seeing the posters of school students in love one can easily expect the story or narration of the movie. We have seen a lot of this kinda movies right? But again we may give a try expecting a difference somewhere. 

Sathyamoorthi (Hamaresh) joins a private school from Govt. School. The kind of experience he faces there and how everything is going on in his family takes the movie forward. Surprisingly (Just kidding) he finds his dream girl at the school. :D

The difference we might expect in the movie is really not there. The same old Rangoli is a 2023 Tamil Movie. Seeing the posters of school students in love one can easily expect the story or narration of the movie. We have seen a lot of this kinda movies right? But again we may give a try expecting a difference somewhere.

Angaaragan Tamil Movie Review

Angaaragan is a 2023 Tamil Thriller Movie. A Police Officer is put into investigation of a girls missing from a resort near Kodai Hills. The story proceeds with the inner life of a group of couples in the resort. The movie deals with the revelation of what actually is happening at the resort.

Sathyaraj as a senior police officer has done his role well while others were pretty average in performance. Cinematography of the movie is really good showcasing the beauty of Kodai.

Good performance and interesting script could have saved the movie.

Yaaro Tamil Movie Review

Yaaro is a 2023 Thriller Movie. This movie if made well could have ended up as a gripping thriller. John an Architect feels the presence of a stranger following him. He gets the help of a police inspector. The movie revolves around how the inspector does the investigation for this case.

It’s the shabby script in first half which spoils the intention of the movie. The second half especially with the flashback scenes was interesting. The background score and cinematography was good to the mood of the movie. Venkat Reddy has performed well in the movie especially in the flash back scenes.

This movie definitely could have been made better.

Thinking about the movie there is nothing much special about it if we start thinking deep. Is it hilarious, not exactly. Is it very romantic, somewhat. Does this movie have a fresh concept or story, no. Is it a thriller?, No. Then why is the movie special?, Cant say , but there is really something special in this movie that holds you on to your seats while watching the movie. May be that anxiety and situations it is showing.

Movie is colourful showcasing the marriage arrangements done at Bride and Grooms home. Lukman and Aarkali Marikar both looks gorgeous and does their role perfectly as Groom and Bride. Making is good capturing perfectly the emotions and anxiety of the situations happening.

Manoj Bajpayee as PC Solanki was absolutely superb with his acting skills even minute movement or expression had its say.

This movie unlike usual court room drama where arguments are emphasised upon, deals in minute detailing of sections in law which many people might have not noticed. Dialogues are the key to this superb movie. With good cinematography throughout and BGM to the point has assisted in success kf this movie.
