Lost Girls (2020) English Movie Review

Directed by Liz Garbus starring Amy Ryan , Thomasin McKenzie and Gabriep Byrne in lead.

Shannan Gilbert a sex worker goes missing and her mother Mari Gilbert sets out to find the truth.

Director gives a different approach to the movie questioning the incompetence and lack of interest of the authorities while dealing with the cases involving prostitutes. Amy Ryan gives a very good performance throughout the movie. The movie keeps us emotionally attached to it and gives some thrills too.

Verdict: Good emotional thriller

Spotlight (2015) English Movie Review

Directed by Tom McCarthy starring Mark Ruffalo, Michael Keaton, Rachel McAdams, Liev Schreiber and Stanley Tucci in lead.

Globe a famous news paper in Boston has a special investigative unit by the name of Spotlight. They are into a child molestation case againt a Catholic Church and the investigation leads to exposing of a big scam. 

With a very good engaging script and solid performances Spotlight turns out to be a classic movie.

Verdict: Must Watch classic thriller movie
